Reports to: Software Development Team Lead

Salary: $70,000 – $80,000 CAD per year

Open to individuals legally authorized to work in Canada without visa sponsorship.

Position Summary

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist with experience testing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and SaaS applications. You will design and execute manual and automated tests to ensure high-quality releases on both on-premise (BC) and cloud platforms. You will collaborate with product, development, and consulting teams to validate key features, customizations, and end-to-end processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define acceptance criteria

  • Develop test strategies, plans, and cases for regression, functional, integration, and performance testing

  • Test core BC modules (finance, sales, purchasing) and custom extensions

  • Perform end-to-end process and data validation tests

  • Maintain manual and automated test suites for SaaS applications

  • Conduct functional, UI/UX, and API integration testing across devices

  • Use automation tools (Selenium, Playwright, Cypress)

  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, Jenkins)

  • Configure and maintain test environments

  • Identify, document, and prioritize defects

  • Standardize QA best practices and maintain documentation

  • Mentor junior QA team members

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems, or equivalent experience

  • Minimum 3 years in QA, ideally ERP/SaaS

  • Experience testing Microsoft Dynamics 365 BC (or NAV)

  • SaaS testing expertise (functional, integration, performance)

  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Jira, or TFS

  • Test automation experience (Selenium, Playwright, Cypress)

  • Basic SQL skills

  • Strong analytical and communication skills

  • Assets: BC customization (AL), API knowledge, Postman, ISTQB certification

  • Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)
