Reports to: Software Development Team Lead
Salary: $70,000 – $80,000 CAD per year
Open to individuals legally authorized to work in Canada without visa sponsorship.
Position Summary
We are seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist with experience testing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and SaaS applications. You will design and execute manual and automated tests to ensure high-quality releases on both on-premise (BC) and cloud platforms. You will collaborate with product, development, and consulting teams to validate key features, customizations, and end-to-end processes.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with stakeholders to define acceptance criteria
Develop test strategies, plans, and cases for regression, functional, integration, and performance testing
Test core BC modules (finance, sales, purchasing) and custom extensions
Perform end-to-end process and data validation tests
Maintain manual and automated test suites for SaaS applications
Conduct functional, UI/UX, and API integration testing across devices
Use automation tools (Selenium, Playwright, Cypress)
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, Jenkins)
Configure and maintain test environments
Identify, document, and prioritize defects
Standardize QA best practices and maintain documentation
Mentor junior QA team members
Qualifications
Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems, or equivalent experience
Minimum 3 years in QA, ideally ERP/SaaS
Experience testing Microsoft Dynamics 365 BC (or NAV)
SaaS testing expertise (functional, integration, performance)
Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Jira, or TFS
Test automation experience (Selenium, Playwright, Cypress)
Basic SQL skills
Strong analytical and communication skills
Assets: BC customization (AL), API knowledge, Postman, ISTQB certification
Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)
