Inside Sales Representative

Position Summary

The Inside Sales Representative (Account Growth & Retention) serves as the commercial bridge between long-term customer success and revenue growth. This role owns the post-deployment commercial relationship with customers, identifying and closing expansion opportunities, managing renewals and ensuring customers remain engaged, satisfied and positioned to expand their use of Verosoft's solutions. Working closely with Customer Success, Sales Engineers and Marketing, this position fills the strategic gap between marketing-generated leads and long-term customer retention.

Key Responsibilities

Account Growth & Upsell

  • Proactively identify and pursue upsell, cross-sell and expansion opportunities.

  • Conduct discovery calls to uncover unmet needs, expansion potential and new use cases.

  • Prepare and deliver quotes for expansion opportunities, add-ons and renewals with Sales Engineers.

  • Prioritize accounts based on size, industry, penetration potential and satisfaction.

  • Manage opportunities through the CRM pipeline from identification to close.

Renewals Management

  • • Own the renewal process for assigned accounts.

  • • Initiate renewal conversations well before contract expiry.

  • • Identify at-risk renewals early and partner with Customer Success to improve retention.

  • • Maintain accurate CRM records.

Relationship Management

  • Build strong, trust-based relationships as the primary commercial contact after deployment.

  • Escalate customer concerns, product gaps and service issues promptly.

  • Partner with Customer Success to ensure clear ownership and customer visibility.

  • Deployment Transition

  • Shadow the final stage of deployment to ensure a smooth handoff.

  • Capture key account intelligence including stakeholders, use cases, risks and expansion indicators.

  • Ensure CRM records are complete before assuming ownership.

Customer Engagement

  • Conduct six-month business reviews based on account tier and growth potential.

  • Leverage NPS feedback to address satisfaction gaps and identify advocates.

  • Help refine structured customer engagement programs.

Reporting & Collaboration

  • Submit weekly activity reports.

  • Maintain CRM accuracy.

  • Review performance dashboards and share insights.

  • Collaborate with Customer Success, Sales Engineers and Marketing.

  • Share market feedback, product gaps and customer insights.

  • Participate in regular sales meetings and 1:1s.

Requirements

  • Experience in B2B SaaS inside sales, account management, or customer success

  • Proven ability to manage customer relationships, renewals, upselling, and cross-selling

  • Experience using CRM systems to manage accounts, pipelines, and sales opportunities

  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills

  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams (Customer Success, Sales Engineering, and Marketing)

  • Experience conducting discovery calls and identifying customer needs to drive account growth
