Software Development Team Lead

This is a hybrid position requiring three (3) days per week in the office. Our office is currently located in Laval and will be relocating to Mirabel in the near future. Candidates should be able to commute to both locations during the transition.

Position Summary

We are looking for an experienced Software Development Team Lead to lead a multidisciplinary team of QA specialists, product designers, full-stack developers, and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central developers. You will oversee day-to-day delivery, improve development processes, coach team members, and work closely with Product, Operations, and Leadership to build high-quality software that delivers value to customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead daily development operations.

  • Balance workloads and manage priorities.

  • Serve as Scrum Master and facilitate Agile ceremonies.

  • Coordinate QA, Design, and Engineering activities.

  • Partner with stakeholders to define priorities.

  • Improve development processes and engineering practices.

  • Coordinate releases and release notes.

  • Participate in hiring, onboarding, coaching, and performance reviews.

  • Mentor team members and foster continuous learning.

  • Promote collaboration, quality, accountability, and responsible AI adoption.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience leading software development teams.

  • Experience working with QA, Product Design, and Full-Stack Engineering.

  • Strong Agile knowledge and experience with Git/GitHub.

  • Experience with Azure DevOps, Linear, or similar tools.

  • Strong communication skills in English and French.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with EAM/CMMS.

  • Technical knowledge of TypeScript, React, Next.js, and/or React Native.

  • Familiarity with Vercel and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.

  • Agile certifications (PSM, CSM, PMP, CAL) are an asset.

  • Experience using AI tools to improve development workflows.
