Abu Dhabi, UAE – May 13, 2025 – Verosoft, a leading provider of enterprise asset management (EAM) solutions and software company behind The Asset Guardian (TAG) Mobi, has opened a new regional office in Abu Dhabi to deepen its support for customers and industry leaders throughout the Middle East and Africa. This expansion reflects Verosoft’s ongoing commitment to helping asset-intensive organizations, especially in the renewable energy sector, scale operations through advanced digital transformation.

The new Abu Dhabi location will be led by Vimal Balakrishnan, a seasoned technology executive with deep experience in Microsoft ecosystems and asset management strategy across high-growth markets.

“We’re not just opening a new office. We’re investing in the future of sustainable infrastructure,” said Martin Turgeon, CEO of Verosoft. “From solar farms to facilities to manufacturing, organizations in the MEA region are embracing smart, scalable solutions to manage complex operations. The Asset Guardian (TAG) plays a crucial role in helping these innovators drive performance, and we’re proud to be on the ground with them.”

Already active in the region, Verosoft is working closely with Noor Abu Dhabi, the world’s largest single-site solar power plant, located near Sweihan. The facility uses over 3.2 million solar panels to supply clean electricity to nearly 90,000 residences in the capital. With a production capacity of 1,177 MW, the Abu Dhabi Solar Power Project is setting a global benchmark in renewable energy scale and efficiency.

Noor Abu Dhabi has implemented The Asset Guardian (TAG), embedded in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, to manage its solar assets and infrastructure. As part of its mid-term digital strategy, the site plans to adopt IoT-driven maintenance planning with TAG Mobi capabilities. Verosoft’s regional expansion will help facilitate this transition, supporting greater uptime and long-term system reliability across its vast energy grid.

“As our customer base expands, so must our proximity and responsiveness,” said Vimal Balakrishnan, Head of Verosoft’s Abu Dhabi office. “This office allows us to work shoulder to shoulder with our partners and customers, offering local support and strategic insight to help them future-proof their operations with tools like our new fully-mobile EAM, TAG Mobi.”

Verosoft CEO Martin Turgeon visits the UAE, meeting with regional partners and customers to reinforce the company’s long-term vision for supporting digital transformation in energy, facility management, and other asset-intensive industries.
